My husband who was 31 recently passed on from a sudden brain aneurysm. We have 4 children who are 7, 5, 3 and 1. I have had some odd experiences since his death, such as a light that has never worked in the 2 years that we have been in our home, suddenly has worked since the night he passed.
I have had chills and our pet dog has began to bark and growl at the TV and doors, the volume of the TV has turned up on its own. But the strangest thing is our 3-year-old son. He has began to come up to me and say "I love you too", which he never said before and this is not in response to me saying I love you, he is just walking up and saying this. He now is saying to me "I love you for all time".
I do not know where he would come up with this and it is beginning to make me wonder if something is happening. He was very close to his Daddy and does not understand what has happened.
Could my husband be trying to contact me through our son? I have heard and read of things like this happening- using a child and pets to try to make contact.

I expect that your son feels insecure since losing his father and worries that you may also die. Consequently, “I love you for all time” also means “Please don’t leave me”. He needs lots of reassurance that you will always be there for him. However, it is also true that children and pets are more aware than adults are when a spirit person is trying to draw close to us. We cannot know for certain, but I expect your husband wants you to know that he is safe in his new world and that his love will always be with you.
